It’s a fun cooperative game, but as far as win/loss ratios go, it’s also one of the toughest I’ve played (I think our play group has won exactly once at medium difficulty, out of about a dozen games played). The other players (as psychics) work together to suss out the clues as quickly as possible, trying to reach the endgame where they receive one final set of clues leading to the murderer. One player (as the ghost) gives out picture clues to each player, hoping to lead them to the suspect, location, or weapon they’re supposed to choose. Mysterium is a very interesting game of interpreting clues to try to deduce facts about a group of potential murder suspects. Happy Halloween! She had been talking with a contact on BoardGameGeek in the area, and was looking to get a group together. I’d never done a real life escape room before, but always wanted to try one. Steph, my game night host, contacted me a week ago asking me if I wanted to join her in doing an escape room up in Buffalo.
